Description

Three white-headed buffalo weavers (Dinemellia dinemelli) perch together in the branches of an acacia tree, each with direct eye contact, illuminated by warm golden sunlight in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tanzania. These social weavers are known for their noisy flocks and elaborate communal nests, which often dominate the canopies of East African acacias. The species is commonly found across northern Tanzania, where its striking black, white, and chestnut plumage stands out vividly against the savanna landscape.
